Private Coaching

In our Private Coaching programs, you’ll work one-on-one with a certified dog trainer or behavior consultant to implement a training or behavior therapy plan tailored to your goals and your dog’s unique personality. These sessions are collaborative, fully customized, and designed to set you and your dog up for success and deliver lasting results.

Private Coaching Programs

Coaching programs start at $525 plus applicable state taxes; prices vary based on location and trainer.

Coaching Programs Include:

  • Private coaching sessions: you and your certified dog trainer or behavior consultant work together during coaching sessions, either at-home, at your local Instinct facility, or virtually.
  • Frequent communication: your trainer will communicate with you frequently between sessions, to answer questions, get updates on progress, and help troubleshoot.
  • Lifetime Alumni support: after you enroll in your coaching program, you and your dog become part of our Alumni family and gain access to lifetime free and low-cost alumni group classes, bi-weekly Zoom support sessions with Instinct behavior experts, and an alumni-only Facebook group.

How Coaching Programs Work:

Coaching programs may take place over a period a few weeks or several months, depending on your goals and the complexity of your dog’s behavior profile.

During private coaching programs, you and your trainer will:

  • work together to set clear, achievable goals tailored to your dog’s unique needs and personality
  • focus on practical, positive solutions that fit your life and help you make steady progress
  • stay in touch every step of the way, celebrating wins, talking through challenges, and adjusting as needed to keep you and your dog on track

We offer single sessions, too!

During your kickoff consultation, we’ll dive right into working toward your goals. For some, that first consultation is all they need. If more support is helpful, you can choose to book single sessions as you go or opt for a larger coaching package—whatever works best for you and your dog. We’re here to provide the guidance and flexibility you need to succeed.
