Oyuki is a full-time trainer and puppy raiser at Instinct East Harlem. She holds a BS, Psychology from Lemoyne College and is a certified professional dog trainer (CPDT-KA). Oyuki is comfortable working with a wide range of breeds and temperaments, having worked for years in shelter/rescue environments prior to moving into private coaching & training for pet dogs. Oyuki is skilled in helping clients with life skills & manners, and puppy development, as well as with behavior issues including fear, anxiety, and reactivity. She lives in NYC with her 5-year-old daughter, 8-year-old Dachshund terrier mix Tarzan and her sweet hamster Cholula.
