Sarah Fraser is a Certified Professional Trainer, Co-Owner of Instinct Dog Behavior & Training and Co-Founder of the Instinct Training & Rehabilitation Center in East Harlem. She has trained & rehabilitated hundreds of New York City dogs while helping owners build stronger relationships with their canine companions.
A graduate of the internationally recognized National K-9 School for Dog Trainers, Sarah is experienced in basic & advanced obedience, behavior modification, puppy development, service dog functions, soft mouth retrieval, scent detection, tracking & trailing, personal protection and police K9 functions. She and her students have won numerous AKC Obedience and Rally competitions and earned multiple AKC Obedience and Rally titles.
Sarah is currently earning her Master of Science degree with a concentration in Social Psychology as it applies to human-canine social groups. She is Co-Founder of Ask Me About My Pit Bull, a free New York City public awareness program committed to protecting pit bull breeds through responsible ownership.
Sarah has been volunteering at animal shelters and with rescue groups for much of her life, including with Animal Care & Control and Posh Pets Rescue in New York City. She is passionate about helping solve behavior issues as a way to keep dogs in their homes.

Brian Burton is a Certified Professional Trainer, Co-Owner of Instinct Dog Behavior & Training and Co-Founder of the Instinct Training & Rehabilitation Center in East Harlem. Brian and his students compete in AKC Obedience and Rally competitions, and have won numerous trials and earned multiple Obedience and Rally titles.

Unlike most trainers, Brian grew up fearful of dogs after being bitten as a child. He overcame his fear and found a true passion after volunteering and working with shelters and rescue groups including Animal Care & Control and Posh Pets Rescue in New York City. Brian believes in the importance of a real world approach to dog training to keep dogs safe, confident and in homes for life.

Ten percent of our kennel space is donated to NYC rescue dogs. We work with the New York's most reputable rescue organizations to rehabilitate and integrate dogs into new homes. We offer lower cost training to low-income families and provide discounted services for military families.
